The story
We create custom library ladders to fit into any space. Library ladders make it easy to access spaces in libraries, family rooms, offices, kitchens, pantries, closets and play rooms. We have built library ladders for businesses and homes alike, including for HGTV.
A ladder can add a touch of class and character to a space. Our custom library ladders are durable and reliable, helping you get around safely and easily for years to come.
Library ladder styles
We make our library ladders in different styles, using a variety of types of hardware, to make sure your ladder is exactly as you envisioned it.
Classic library ladders
Classic ladders are the rolling library ladders traditionally used in a library, with narrow sides and deep steps. They have wheels on the bottom, hooks or wheels at the top and a rail to keep the ladder in place. They give you an easy and convenient way to reach books stored on high shelves. Think of Belle's ladder in Beauty and the Beast.
Amsterdam library ladders
Amsterdam library ladders have a very European styling with square sides and a narrow profile, for a more modern look. They often use hooks at the top that let you store the ladder vertically against the shelving, move the ladder between rails, or store it on another wall.
Built for your space
We can build ladders of all heights and slopes, with different types of hardware and wood and a choice of finishes like stains or paint.
