Library Ladder Kit

Handcrafted in Perth, Ontario, Canada, our library ladder kits come in three premium hardwoods, white oak, walnut, and maple, and three sizes with rail heights up to 9'6" (114"). Hardware is sold separately so you can choose the style that fits your space.

Design Features

• Step corners are flush with the front of the side rails to prevent scrapes and clothing snags
• Two traction grooves on each step, each ¼" wide, provide a safe grip while climbing
• All edges are rounded over ¼" for a comfortable grip
• A modern styled top rung that gives you a hand grip at the top of the ladder

Sizes & What’s Included

Each kit includes two side rails, steps, and one top rung.

• 7 steps (8'5"): side rails are 101" long, max rail height is 96" (8')
• 8 steps (9'6"): side rails are 114" long, max rail height is 108" (9')
• 9 steps (10'): side rails are 120" long, max rail height is 114" (9'6")

Construction

• 16" wide
• Steps made with 1x5" stock, side rails made with 1x4" stock
• Step dados are ¾" wide, pre cut
• Pre drilled holes for #8 step screws and ⅜" diameter step support rods

Hardware

This kit includes wood pieces only. Hardware is not included, but Quiet Glide and Meadow Lane hardware is available separately. Tell us about your project and we’ll help you select the right hardware.
