Loft Ladder hardware

THE STORY

With hardware, loft ladders can be attached in multiple ways. The right hardware for your ladder will depend on whether:

• You want your ladder to always be at the loft, or would you like to store it to another wall?

• Should your ladder be stationary or should it slide from side to side?

• Will you store your ladder by pushing it vertically against the loft wall?

We carry hardware for all common use scenarios and recommend:

Stationary loft hinges

When your ladder will always be at the loft wall we recommend these hinges. They have virtually no side to side movement when you climb the ladder making it very safe and when you want to store the ladder you push it against the wall.

Sliding hooks

In small spaces you might not be able to use loft hinges. Sliding hooks rest on a rail, just like a library ladder does, allowing the ladder to be me moved side to side when necessary while also allowing you to store the ladder vertically against the loft.
