THE STORY
Handrails help you climb your ladder safely. They give you something to grab – in the event of missed footing, a trip or simply losing balance, handrails are a great safety line.
When we first started making custom ladders we were asked if we could provide handrails. We were unable to find products that met our criteria of being high quality, reasonably priced and ethically made. Now we build handrails in house and we work with local fabrication shops and red seal welders to be able to offer our clients a variety of custom made wooden and metal handrails, available in different finishes.

Curved loft handrails are 4’ long, with 2’ extended into the loft and are powder coated black. Proudly handcrafted in Canada

Black pipe is used in many furniture applications. It is the lowest cost solution for ladder handrails and is available unpainted from your local hardware store

Our ladders start at $1195.00 CAD.
The price of your ladder depends on the materials you would like the ladder to be made out of, how tall you want it to be, the finish you want on the ladder and the hardware you select. We handcraft the ladder in our workshop using high-quality hardware and premium wood.
Shipping isn’t included in this starting price. Contact us with your location and we will give you the shipping price.

We use a variety of different woods and hardware for our ladders. Our base price includes an 8’ maple ladder. Every ladder is completely custom and when you contact us with your vision we will design your ladder with you, then handcraft it in our Calgary workshop
You can choose:
Your desired wood (e.g. white oak, walnut, ash or fir).
Hardware that fits your style and provides the functionality you require (e.g. top hooks, stationary loft mounts or rolling wheels).
Finishes like stain, varnish or paint.
Practical additions like handrails, easier to climb angle or a small bookshelf above the top step.
Creative design details such as rounded over or square corner edges, routered traction grooves on each step, double bevelled step front corners.
