1919 Kitchen Ladder
Our client loved the pictures of our 1919 loft ladder and wanted the same style for her beautiful kitchen. The wood was salvaged from a bard built in De Winton, AB in 1919.
This lovely aged fir wood was cleaned, then we used a two part resin to strengthen the deeper cracks, while maintaining it’s original patina. A safety feature on this ladder is the small top shelf that was inspired by a client who wanted a contemporary looking alternative to the traditional top rung usually seen at the top of a ladder. This shelf helps you keep three contact points on the ladder by providing a place to set down small items as you climb the ladder.

Every ladder we create is the result of a collaborative process that starts with your vision. We can build ladders of all heights and slopes with different types of wood and a choice of finishes like stains or paint. Once we’re in touch, we can discuss materials—including your preferred wood and hardware style—and provide a quote for the price of the ladder plus shipping.
