Kitchen Ladder with Hardware in Two Colours

Our client outside of Calgary renovated her 100 year old home. Her new kitchen and mudroom cabinets needed a ladder to access the highest shelves. This ladder has hardware in satin nickel hardware with black rails. This is also one on the most challenging ladders that we have made. The angled corner cabinet with the intersecting countertop below it required an extensive mock up in our shop. We had to find a way to bring the rail towards the counter edge in order for the ladder to hook on, without colliding with the countertop and it had to be attractive! It took a great deal of time to build a piece onto the cabinets to make it work, but we did it!
